My thoughts about teaching and learning

Teaching is a message that a teacher should believe in. The number one reason for becoming a teacher is to make a difference in the lives of as many students as you can. Teaching is not only about a discipline that you want to teach as a teacher, it is also about the way to deal with your students. Students can be affected by the way that their teacher treats them, it may be positive effect or negative one. The more the teacher creates a positive environment and positive relationships with her students, the more the achievements of the students become. 

For me as a teacher and from this experience, I learned so many new things that always need further improvements. My thoughts about teaching and learning are becoming more developed with every new year. Using humor and fun in your teaching is reflected on students learning positively. Listening to  my students when ever they need or face problems, allows our relationship to become as friendly as possible. This way of dealing allows the students to love what I teach them and put more and more effort to do what is required from them. For me I belief in all my students that they can all do it. Always my standards and expectations toward my students are both high. Every student has a level of intelligence that differs from other one maybe because of his background environment, and that level of intelligence can be improved  with any student. My role as a teacher is to be accessible for all my students any time, and treat them equally and fairly. In addition to that I have to respect my students and show interest about their answers concerning any topic.  I have to listen to them always and accept their wrong answers and let them learn from them, because I believe in them and I wont give up with any student. 

Following all what is mentioned above,  allows any teacher that believes in what I have mentioned to be a skillful teacher. 

Teaching is not just a job to do and earn money.  It is a whole life building process that a teacher should be careful to. A teacher should always remember that she is building up a life of a person, that her reaction with that person, reflects if he/she will succeed or fail.
